WHEN TO GO
Nepal's trekking season bursts with vibrant life in spring (March to May) and crystal-clear skies in autumn (September to November). These prime months attract the most travelers, drawn by the comfortable temperatures and stunning scenery.
This is the most popular time to hike, with clear skies, mild temperatures, and blooming rhododendrons. However, it can also be the busiest time of year, so expect higher prices and crowded trails.
Another great time to hike, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures. The monsoon season has just passed, so the trails are washed clean and the air is fresh. This is also peak season, so be prepared for crowds.
The trails are less crowded in winter, and you may even get some snow on the higher peaks. However, it can be very cold at high altitudes, so be sure to pack accordingly.
The monsoon season is not the best time for hiking, as the trails can be slippery and dangerous. However, it is a great time to visit if you want to see the lush green hills and rice paddies. You can also find some good deals on hotels and flights during this time.
